Before I was a personal trainer and nutritionist, I worked as a journalist for several years having done a Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism at Cardiff University’s School of Journalism. I now enjoy bringing both sets of skills together in writing not only my own blog, but also for various publications and websites including Women’s Running magazine and

I’m currently the nutritionist for a fabulous collaborative project between Women’s Running magazine and the sportswear brand Brooks. This project sees eight women training for running events of varying distances with a running coach on-hand for training support, and myself on-hand for nutritional support. I’m passionate about this project because, like myself, both Brooks and Women’s Running magazine have a very holistic view of fitness; it’s not all about Personal Bests but more about just getting outside and feeling better, not only physically but mentally for doing so.
